How not to win a sword fight
At first I wasn't going to show off Veronica's (a.k.a. Truth, Honour, Love's) photos of Igal and I sparring at summer camp, since they demonstrate graphically what a raw beginner I am. But in retrospect, they're kind of funny because they illustrate all kinds of ways not to win a swordfight, so here they are for your edification. I'm the one in the beige gambeson.

The Old English is the part of Beowulf about heads melting in a funeral pyre. I thought it was sort of appropriate, since the picture is of a pig's head.

I haven't gotten to see you fight, but from the pics, I'd say you're being a tad hard on yourself.

Those are great...I must admit that the last one's my favorite. Especially with the caption! And yes...lovely lovely armor. Some of my Scadian buddies would be jealous.
